Rule of thumb is north/northeast winds from fall through spring, and south/southwest winds in late spring/summer. Flower arrangements and centerpieces should be well weighted to avoid tipping when being used at outdoor events. Consider placement of tables, chairs, and tenting when at all possible, so as to provide you and your guests with the most protection using buildings, tent sides, etc. as a buffer from any possible wind.
